Even before our MVP is presented at the end of July 2026, we wanted one thing above all: to start a conversation with people.
That's why beQ was present at trade fairs in Vienna, Munich, and Stuttgart in recent weeks. With its own booth, the entire team on site, and an idea that immediately resonated with many visitors: seeing Wi-Fi through walls.
The result: full booths, several hundred scheduled follow-up meetings, and many visitors who immediately understood the potential of the technology.
One of the most visited stands at the fair
In all three cities it quickly became clear: Our booth is a hit.
This wasn't just due to the technology, but also to the atmosphere. We deliberately focused on a mix of exchange, participation, and a good glass of wine. Not a classic trade fair booth with brochures and a standard pitch – but a place where people could stop, ask questions, and brainstorm applications together.
That's exactly what happened.
Many visitors initially approached the stand out of curiosity. After a few minutes, brief conversations turned into intensive discussions.
missions.
How does the technology work?
Where can they be used?
What does that mean for everyday life?
What opportunities does this create in the commercial environment?
What was particularly interesting was that many people immediately had their own ideas.
"I can see a direct use case for that."
Our approach of using Wi-Fi to see through walls received the most attention.
What initially sounded futuristic became tangible for many visitors within minutes. Almost everyone immediately recognized a potential benefit, either personally or professionally.
In private settings, topics such as: were frequently discussed:
more comfort in everyday life
new possibilities in the smart home
better overview in living spaces
In the commercial sector, significantly more potential applications were discussed:
Better understanding buildings and spaces
Manage processes more efficiently
develop new services and applications
meaningfully expand existing systems
Many visitors said something to the effect of: "We've never seen anything like this before." And that was exactly what was noticeable.
It wasn't just about interest in a new technology. It was about the fact that many people immediately recognized the concrete benefits they could derive from it.
The entire team was on site
Another reason why the trade fair appearances worked so well: The entire team was there.
Whether at the booth, in conversations, during the presentations or in the direct exchange afterwards, everyone helped out.
This allowed us not only to have many discussions but also to incorporate very different perspectives. Technical questions, strategic topics, and concrete ideas for use cases could be discussed directly on site.
That's precisely what convinced many visitors. No glossy presentation, no distance, but a team that stands behind what it develops.
Initial discussions lead to concrete next steps.
After the trade fairs, one thing is clear to us above all: The interest is there.
We have gathered several hundred contacts and already arranged numerous appointments for the period after the events.
For us, this is a strong signal.
Because the discussions have shown that the technology does not just generate attention. It triggers concrete thoughts, opens up new possibilities, and meets a genuine need.
The next milestone: end of July 2026
The trade fair appearances in Vienna, Munich and Stuttgart were an important step for us.
Now we look ahead.
We will unveil our MVP at the end of July 2026. The feedback we've received over the past few weeks has confirmed that we're on the right track.
We look forward to future discussions, new ideas – and to soon showing what beQ is all about.
