beQ Presents: Our MVP 2026

We're showing publicly for the first time how the beQ Hub works. And why the answer to what's happening inside a building doesn't have to come from a camera.


We've mapped the Earth's surface, captured every angle by satellite, and can tell from the outside how crowded a street is. The moment someone steps into a building, that knowledge ends. What happens inside remains a guess for most operators, based on receipts, occupancy plans, and experience.

Yet that's exactly where the data that should drive decisions lives. Which space pays for itself. Which area is overloaded at peak times. Which room gets paid for but is barely used.



Why cameras don't answer this question


The usual answer to this gap is cameras. In practice, they hit their limits fast. A single supermarket needs roughly eighty devices on average to truly cover every angle. Add wiring, maintenance, and analysis on top. And there's a question no operator likes to discuss publicly: who gets to see this footage, how long is it stored, and what do the works council, tenants, and regulators say about it.

In areas where people have a legitimate right to remain unobserved, cameras are off the table entirely. That's exactly where the most interesting questions arise.



What the beQ Hub does instead


beQ uses the WiFi that's already running in your building. Radio waves change when something moves through a room. Our M-QUBE technology reads movement patterns out of these changes. No image is created, no face, no biometric trait. What's generated is the information that something is moving, in which direction, and how long it lingers in one spot.

That information lands in the beQ Hub, the interface you work with.



From floor plan to answer


The starting point is the floor plan. Buildings are set up in the editor, with rooms, doors, and windows. Movement is layered on top as a heatmap. You can watch it live or play back a past time period, sped up if you want to review an entire day in a few minutes.

The second part is what sets this apart from classic building systems. Instead of clicking through menus, you type your question into a single line, the way you would with an AI assistant. How many people are currently in the building. Which shared areas see the most traffic. Where are the hotspots throughout the day. The answer comes back as an analysis, with rankings and numbers, and the Hub immediately suggests the next useful questions to ask.

Frequently used queries are ready as quick commands. We didn't decide which ones at a desk; we took them straight from conversations with our pilot customers.

More questions can be added anytime. Anything that can be derived from movement patterns can also be queried.



Where this is already making a difference today


In retail, it's about space productivity. Which paths do visitors actually take, which areas get bypassed, how does a layout change affect dwell time.

In hospitals and care facilities, it's about safety and workflow. The system notices when someone leaves an area they should be in, or when a room shows no movement for an unusually long time. Without a camera hanging in anyone's room.

In real estate, it's about proof and cost. How heavily is a space actually used, which areas can be consolidated, where is lighting and ventilation running for empty rooms.

What's always analyzed is the aggregated pattern, never the individual person. That's not a reassurance added after the fact, it's how the system is built. What's never collected doesn't need to be protected.



Effort and rollout


Because we build on the WiFi infrastructure that's already in place, the biggest cost block of a classic installation disappears. Based on our project calculations so far, the effort involved is significantly lower than a comparable camera solution, and setting up a location takes hours, not weeks. Billing is monthly, not a one-time investment.



What's next


The prototype is running. The next development step is the three-dimensional view, where movement becomes visible as a shadowy silhouette. The two-dimensional view stays in place, since it's the more practical option in many cases. In parallel, we're preparing the launch with our first test customers. Mid-September, we'll meet for the next tech workshop in Warsaw and report back on what's moved forward by then.
