A Late Summer Full of Encounters: beQ in Salzburg, Berlin, and Munich

Late summer is bringing plenty of movement. We've kicked things off, with two more dates still ahead. From a sold-out evening high above Salzburg, to an award in Berlin, to Europe's largest founders' gathering in Munich. Here's an overview of what's happened and what's still to come.

Recap, August 21: Evening of the Future at the VEGA Observatory, Salzburg

We kicked things off with our own event. On Friday, August 21, we welcomed guests to the VEGA Observatory high above Salzburg starting at 4:00 PM. The setting was deliberately intimate — the observatory holds no more than 130 guests.

The program included a champagne reception on the rooftop terrace, a festive dinner, and the moment we'd been working toward for a long time. That evening, we publicly unveiled the beQ Hub for the first time, our product for customers, along with the new dashboard. Gerhard Fröse shared his outlook for the coming years. And around 10:00 PM, things turned literally cosmic as guests got to look through the telescope.

The evening was completely sold out, all 130 seats taken. That tells us just how much interest there is in this topic. [Insert one or two real impressions from the evening here, ideally with a photo.] We'll follow up with a full recap here on the blog.

September 16–17: BIG BANG AI Festival in Berlin

Next, we're heading to the capital. On September 16 and 17, companies, developers, and decision-makers focused on artificial intelligence will gather at the BIG BANG AI Festival at STATION Berlin.

This date is a special one for us: beQ will be honored there with the BIG BANG INNOVATION Award. The whole team is thrilled about this recognition for our camera-free indoor intelligence technology.

You'll find us at Booth A2 in the Orange Hall. Stop by — we're looking forward to your questions and to connecting directly. If you want to see what WiFi sensing can do today, this is the place to find out.

September 28–30: Bits & Pretzels in Munich

Wrapping things up is Bits & Pretzels at ICM Munich, one of the largest gatherings of Europe's founder and tech scene. For three days, everything revolves around innovation, exchange, and new connections — with day three traditionally spent at Oktoberfest.

The beQ team will be on-site, looking to connect with founders, technology partners, and anyone interested in the future of camera-free building intelligence.

Why We Do This

Our technology is best explained in person. Camera-free, anonymous, built on the WiFi infrastructure that's already there. To many, that still sounds like science fiction at first. That's exactly why we go where the questions get asked.

We look forward to meeting you in person in Berlin or Munich. See you soon.

Your beQ Team
